STEPHANIE KRISTINA is a singer/songwriter/pianist born and bred in the Washington DC area. Her debut EP, "The Hour" is the result of a love affair with music spanning over 2 decades, a refreshing blend of soul, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop. Each track on the EP is a small piece of her personal memoir, a story about love, purpose, and divine timing. On what she hopes to convey through THE HOUR, Stephanie says: "I want people to hear this project, enjoy the music, learn about me, and hopefully, learn from my experiences. I want people to know that loving yourself and accepting no less than what you deserve is the place to be. I want this project to inspire people to love themselves and each other a little bit better." A native of the Washington, DC area, Stephanie has been pursuing music since age 5. In the past two decades she has had many notable experiences, from playing and singing in various choirs and bands, to winning a scholarship to perform in Pavia, Italy. She has had the distinct honor of performing in the presence various celebrities and dignitaries, to include President Barack and First Lady Michele Obama. Stephanie has also been a choir director, private piano teacher and guest music clinician. In 2012, Stephanie was the recipient of the Ebone Image Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music, presented by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.
Stephanie is also a licensed attorney focusing on entertainment law and small business consulting.
